Such a deep and subtle nose with great fresh pineapple fruit plus white chocolate, white pepper, Amalfi lemon and lemon curd complexity. Super-concentrated and super-focused on the compact, yet vibrant palate that’s right on the borderline of medium- to full-bodied. The 2022 Grüner Veltliner Kellerberg comes from the warmer, lower reaches of the Kellerberg, as the higher zones are reserved for Riesling. Slight yeast and ripe pear on the nose signal smoothness. On the palate, the pear dissipates to leave a sleek flow of white miso paste edged with white and green pepper. After that, citrus takes over to elongate these flavors on a very classy, smooth and concentrated body, once again tapering very elegantly to the finish. (Bone-dry) (AK) - VM
